Mohamad passionate about Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation. Prior to Rapid Response, Mohamad worked with various local and International NGOs and Relief Agencies in India, Uganda, Cambodia and United Kingdom. Mohamad has a Degree in Electrical Engineering and Postgraduate in International Development from the University of Manchester. He loves traveling, photography and building websites for non profits.

Asha RaniDirector of Operations

Asha passionate about International Development and Disaster Management. Prior to Rapid Response, Asha worked with InVenture as a Country Director. She is having 10 years experience in working with various MFIs and NGOs, including four years as an assistant general manager in Grameen Koota. Asha has an MBA from University of Dharwad and she loves traveling, cooking and spending time with children.

Neha BansalDirector of Strategy

Neha passionate about Architecture, Planning, and Earthquake/Landslide Risk Management. Prior to joining Rapid Response Neha worked with National Capital Region Planning Board in Jaipur. In 2012 Neha has presented paper on Landslide planning tool for urban disaster management in REAL CORP at Schwechat, Austria. Neha holds Master of City Planning form IIT Kharagpur and Currently She is pursuing her PHD in IIT Roorkee.

Dr. SandeepHead of Resource Mobilisation

With 17 years of experience in disaster management Dr. Sandeep has been a senior consultant in Centre for Disaster Management Bipard - Ministry of Home Affairs, India. Prior to Rapid Response, Sandeep worked with World Bank, UNICEF and Government of Bihar. Sandeep holds PHD in Environment and Disaster Management and he is a visiting professor in National Institute of Technology.

John KennedyHead of Trainings

John oversees Rapid Response Disaster Preparedness training programs. He has brought 25 years of experience working with various nonprofits in India. Being a social worker, he has been a consultant for many agencies during the Tsunami. John has a Degree in Law and Master of Business Administration from the University of Madurai. He loves volunteering and providing legal advice for the underprivileged people.

Farzan ChishtiHead - Marketing

As a project lead in many creative projects, Farzan possess real world experience of complete 'Creative Concept Development Life Cycle'. His several years of experience in Graphic design helped many organizations to sell their products and services creatively. Farzan has a BFA in Graphic & Multimedia design from University of Sharjah and he loves mentoring his team members to overcome challenges.

Megha passionate about writing, editing and publishing. Prior to starting Rapid Response, she has been writing for various local, national news papers and magazines. Sarju TayenjamCountry Representative - United Kingdom

Sarju passionate about working with women and children in disaster affected areas. Prior to Rapid Response, She worked with several civil society organisations in India, including CRY, EEMA, ICS and YUVA. Greg has managed and consulted with many nonprofit organizations committed to working with communities in need globally since then, having worked in Sri Lanka, India, Kenya, and Ethiopia. Janaka JayawickramaProgram Leader - Northumbria University

Janaka is a social anthropologist, trained in India, USA and the UK. Currently, Janaka is the Programme Leader of the MSc Disaster Management and Sustainable Development at Northumbria University. He has worked with governments, UN system and civil society groups in Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East and South Asia for more than 20 years. Janaka has been directly engaged in disasters and conflicts such as Western Darfur, Sudan and 2004 Asian tsunami in Sri Lanka and directed community-based responses to humanitarian issues. He is currently exploring the idea of collaboration between insiders and outsiders as equal partners in disaster, conflict and development situations. Abhishek Vivian PrasadDeputy Chairman, RAC - Govt of Victoria

Viv has extensive experience in community work, especially with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and his forte in leadership and strategic planning has led him to serve on many national & international boards. Some organisations where Viv has served in various capacities are, the Vice President Operations & Finance Director of the Melbourne Junior Chamber of Commerce, Management Committee Member of the Australia India Business Council, Management Committee Member of the Australia India Society of Victoria, the Vice Chairman of the Indian Executive Club and board director of the Little Big Shots (Melbourne International) Film Festival for Kids. In 2011, Viv received the Victorian Government's Award for Excellence for Service Delivery to Victoria as well as the Indian Executive Club's Award for Government Services.

Chaman PinchaHumanitarian Professional

Chaman is a senior gender consultant in International Development and Humanitarian Sector. Currently, Chaman is working with various organisations in Afghanistan in the conflict zones as a gender and external evaluation consultant. Prior to that, Chaman was associated with several organizations, some of them are Action Aid, Oxfam, UNICEF, Red R, LWS, Care India, UNDP, BCPR Geneva and NIDM. Chaman has published two books and one of which is translated in Turkish and Indonesian and being thought in the Amherst College, USA. Chaman has written several papers and journals and also on the editorial board of the International Journal of Built Environment. Chaman was designated by National Disaster Management Congress, as a Chairperson for Gender and Disaster thematic session of 2nd India Disaster Congress, New Delhi. Lalit BograRegional IT Manager - IDRC

Lalit is a senior IT Consultant and he passionate about ICT collaboration for better employment of technology on humanitarian missions. He is currently associated with International Development Research Centre as a Regional IT Manager in the Asia Regional Office in New Delhi. Prior to IDRC, Lalit worked with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. His areas of responsibilities includes IT services, disaster response activities, managing disaster response kits for deployment, managing profile application of trained disaster response team and global ICT development projects. Lalit was also the prisident of India chapter at NetHope, a collaboration of 41 humanitarian organizations seeking to use their technology investments to better serve people in the developing world. Lalit holds degree from Kurukshetra University and MCSE from Microsoft.
