Mr Farukh passionate about Disaster Response. Prior to Rapid Response, he worked with various local and international NGOs and Relief Organisations in India, Uganda, Cambodia and United Kingdom. He has a Degree in Electrical Engineering and Postgraduate in International Development from the University of Manchester.
Gregory has worked as an international development consultant, serving organizations that operate in countries all over the world. He holds a BA in Political Science & International Relations from the University of California and MA in International Studies & Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He currently resides in Los Angeles, where he serves as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Visions Global Empowerment, a non-profit organization committed to providing educational opportunities to youth affected by poverty and conflict in South Asia.
Prof. Sridhar Balasubramanian holds Ph.D. and M.S in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University (ASU). Prior to joining IIT Bombay as a faculty member, he was a post-doctoral research scientist at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), a United States Department of Energy (DOE) laboratory, located in Los Alamos, New Mexico, USA.His area of research involves geophysical fluid dynamics, thermal instabilities, and turbulent mixing, with specific focus on the physics of ocean-atmosphere coupling, large-scale convection, weather and climate, and Indian Monsoon dynamics.
Viv has extensive experience in community work, especially with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and his forte in leadership and strategic planning has led him to serve on many national & international boards. Some organisations where Viv has served in various capacities are, Management Committee Member of the Australia India Business Council, Management Committee Member of the Australia India Society of Victoria. In 2011, Viv received the Victorian Government's Award for Excellence for Service Delivery to Victoria as well as the Indian Executive Club's Award for Government Services.
Mr Shemeer passionate about helping non profits use technology effortlessly to fulfil their mission. He is currently associated with Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiative and prior he was working with Amnesty International. He is an active mentor at #Tech4Good India Fellowship and currently runnig two non profits initiatives Autsi and Vawhelp. He is an BITS-Pilani alumni.
Sarju passionate about working with women and children in disaster affected areas. Prior to Rapid Response, She worked with various civil society organisations in including CRY, EEMA, ICS and YUVA. She holds MSc in Disaster Management and Sustainable Development from the University of Northumbria.
